FULL PAYING PATIENT (FPP)
Full Paying Patient Service (FPPS)
- Via Full Paying Patient (FPP) service which was introduced in 2007, a patient may receive treatment from a specialist of his choice and enjoy additional facilities subject to availability of existing resources, field of specialty and services in Hospital Putrajaya.
- All FPP patients shall be charged for each treatment provided or procedure performed by the specialists at a very competitive price.
- The hospital policy including visiting hours, restriction on ward visit by children aged 12 years old and below, shall be adhered to by all FPP patients.

- Citizens and non-citizens of Malaysia.
- Government employees who choose the FPP Scheme.
- Employee of corporate/private sector in which their employer/organization has agreed to bear their medical expenditure.

Registration / Treatment Hours
Working days (8.00 am - 5.00 pm)
FPPS Registration
To register, patient must bring along the following documents :
i. Identity Card/Birth Certificate /Visa/Passport
ii. Guarantee Letter (GL) from the company or insurance company stating their eligibility for the FPPS Scheme.
iii. Deposit
iv. Reference Letter / Appointment Card (if available)
Note: Patients who choose the FPPS Scheme should have to sign the FPPS Scheme Agreement Form /Consent Form
Dietary Menu for FPPS Patient
FPPS patients would be served with the menu based on the existing menu for the First Class Ward.
Deposit/Down payment
Patients are required to pay a deposit based on the stipulated rates:
A minimum of RM 3,000.00 or 50 % of the estimated total cost of treatment whichever is higher.
Additional Deposits
- Deposits are to be reviewed daily to ensure adequate balance of not less than RM 1,000
- A letter of reminder for additional deposit will be issued to the patient/ kin from time to time when the balance of the deposit falls to RM 1,000
- Additional payments must be made within 24 hours from the date of receiving the letter of reminder.

Note:
- Patients who have agreed to the FPPS are required to pay before being allowed obtain the prescribed medicine or before given an appointment for repeat treatment
- Receipt of payment will be issued after all bills are paid.
Exemption of Payment
There is no exemption of payment under the FPP scheme.
Payment disputes
Any disputes over payments should be in written if verbal clarification is inadequate. However, patients are to make full payment before hand. Disputes that are not resolved will be referred to the Secretary- General, Ministry of Health, Malaysia. Refunds will be making after the approval from Secretary – General, Ministry of Health, Malaysia.
Termination from FPPS
- In the event that an additional deposit is not received by 12 p.m. upon receiving the letter of reminder the following day, the FPP patient will no longer be enttiled to a FPP service.
- Any FPP patient admitted in the Executive Ward for FPP service will be transferred to the First Class Ward for public service.
- All outstanding bills for FPP service must be settled first in full by the FPP patient prior to being transferred to the public service.
