Introduction

It is located at level 2,3,4 and 5 of the hospital Putrajaya.

Facilities and Services  

1. General medicine (+psychiatry) consist of 2 wards 4A &4B located at 4th floor.

• 1st class (Double Beded) 6 beds
• 1st class (Four Beded) 8 beds
• 2nd class (Four Beded) 8 beds
• 3rd class (Four Beded) 4 beds
• Single Beded 1 bed
• Isolation Bed 1 bed

2. Surgical ward consist of two wards 3A & 3B including Opthalmology, ENT and Dental located at 3rd floor. Surgical wards is for management of all surgical client at secondary level. Services provided include minor surgery and major surgery(elective & emergency) . Provision of medical record

• 1st class (Double Beded) 4 beds (male)
• 1st class (Four Beded) 8 beds (male)
• 3rd class (Four Beded) 4 beds (male)
  
• 1st class (Four Beded) 4 beds (female)
• 2nd class (Four Beded) 7 beds (female)
• 1st class (Single Beded) 2 beds

3. Obstetric

• antenatal, postnatal & gynaecological cases consist of two wards, 2A & 2B
• 2nd class - 16 beds
• 3rd class - 40 beds

4. Peadiatric ward

The general Paediatric Ward provide inpatient care, including medical and non medical cases. The ward 2C has 28 bedded, situated on the second floor.

This ward caters for the following :

a) Paediatric medical cases between the age of 1 month and 12 years.

b) Paediatric non-medical cases less than 10 years of age.

5. Special care area :

a)NICU - consist of 20 beds - for ill babies needing ventilation/intensive care

b)ICU / CCU - for ill cases needing intensive care and coronary care

c)HDU - for step down care of ICU clients

6. Facilities available in all of the ward includes :

a) Seminar room

b) Visitor's lounge - is provided for client and relative

7. All the wards have 28 beds.

• three 2 beded rooms.
• five 4 beded rooms.
• one single beded room as isolation room.
• Security rooms in the ward for prisoners.

8. Each floor has a prayer room and staff changing room and public telephone.
