Otorhinolaryngology
Introduction The department of Otorhinolaryngology in the Hospital PutraJaya will provide specialised care for patients with problems of the ear, nose, throat and related areas of the head and neck region. It is staffed by specialist and medical officers. The rest of the staff for the wards and clinic are shared with various other disciplines.
Facilities and Services 1. Outpatient Care 2. Inpatient Care 3. Audiological assessment (outpatient & inpatient) 4. Endoscopy (rigid nasoendoscopy, rigid otoscopy, flexible pharyngolaryngoscopy) 5. Daycare Surgery/Procedure 6. Minor & Major Elective Surgery 7. Emergency care irrespective of working hours 8. Continuous Medical Education (CME) for medical staff 9. Public health education (pollution, occupational health hazards, noise induced deafness factors contributing to head & neck cancers etc.)
Operating Hours Inpatient ward :24 hours
Outpatient clinics on Mondays & Wednesdays : 8.45am - 12.45pm
