![]() Introduction Facilities and Services
The management department has been in operation since the year 2000. It is responsible for deployment and maximizing the use of resources and budget for the hospital. Units that coordinates for this department are the :
Office of the Director of the Hospital
This is the hub of all decision-making processes in the hospital. The office is headed by the Hospital Director assisted by a Deputy Director and a Personal Assistant. The functions of this unit are coordination of : . Logistics . Central Stationery Store . Assets . Training . Orientation . Protocols . Visitors . Annual Reports The unit is led by the Deputy Director and coordinated by three Administrative Assistants, a Librarian and three Junior Assistants. The Administrative Unit is responsible for logistics, primarily being the educational facilities comprising the auditorium, seminar and meeting rooms. It is also responsible for the library, central stationary store and PABX facilities. The unit handles assets record of the hospital. It is also responsible in coordinating inhouse trainings apart from those compulsory to the servie; orientation programs for new staff and visitors' programs for new staff and visitors' programs to the hospital. It also coordinates the hospital's annual report. Human Resource Unit All staffing management issues are handled by this unit. It is headed by an Assistants. The unit handles almost others, these processes : . Appointment of staff . Confirmations . Extensions of appointments . Disciplinary actions . Letter of acknowledgments . Declarations of assets . Retirements . Terminations of staff . Compulsory service requirements such as examinations or induction courses . Housemen Financial Unit Budget and the processes of payments are the priorities of this unit. It also handles periodical reports to relevant authorities. This unit is led by an Officer and coordinated by an Assistant Accountant. There are eight Administrative Assistants which deals with : . Salary payments . Payment of procurements . Claims . Ticketing for staff . Payments of contract services
Revenue Unit This unit handles receipt of all bill transactions (inpatient / outpatient / utilities / repayments), medical reports payments and subsequently reports pertaining to them. It led by an officer, assisted by an Assistant Accountant and fifteen Administrative Assistants. The day-to-day running of the unit is coordinated by a Senior Administrative Assistant.
Development Unit All planning and development of physical infrastructures in the hospital is handled by this unit. It also deals with procurements in-terms of the quotation processes and dealings of its committee. It is headed by the Deputy Director and aided by an Assistant Administrative Officer.
